Mographr — AI Motion Graphics Generator
Mographr turns a written description into production-ready motion graphics. You describe the animation you want — a lower third, a title card, a chart reveal — and get back a real, editable animation rendered to MP4 or to transparent video you can drop straight onto a timeline. Unlike video models, it renders designed graphics with real typography, so text is exact and every run is repeatable.
What is Mographr?
Mographr is an AI motion-graphics studio rather than a video generator. A diffusion model asked for a title card invents letterforms that look like text; Mographr builds the animation as code, so the words are the words you typed, in a real font, at the size you chose. That makes the output usable in client work: crisp at 4K, consistent across runs, and exportable with a genuine alpha channel for compositing.

Frequently asked questions
What is Mographr?
Mographr is an AI motion-graphics studio. You describe an animation in plain language and it builds a real, editable motion graphic — lower thirds, titles, callouts, chart reveals — then renders it to MP4 or to transparent video for compositing. It is aimed at people who need broadcast-looking graphics without opening After Effects.
How is it different from AI video generators?
Video generators synthesise footage: every run differs and any text in frame is invented letterforms. Mographr builds the animation as code with real fonts and exact keyframes, so the text is exactly what you typed, the brand colours are exactly your hex values, and the same prompt gives the same result. It is the difference between generating a video and generating a graphic to put on top of one.
Can I export with a transparent background?
Yes — a genuine alpha channel, via ProRes 4444 or WebM alpha, on every plan including Free. This is the thing most browser-based tools cannot do: they hand back an opaque MP4 that has to be keyed. A real alpha channel drops straight onto a timeline in Premiere, Resolve, Final Cut or CapCut with clean edges.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Mographr runs in the browser, and the free tools at https://www.mographr.com/tools work without even an account. There is also a DaVinci Resolve plugin and a desktop app if you prefer to stay inside your editor, and an MCP server so an AI assistant can render for you from a chat.
How much does it cost?
There is a free plan with 60 credits a month and no card required. Paid plans run from $20 to $200 per month, and Pro includes a 30-day free trial that starts with 1,000 credits. Full breakdown at https://www.mographr.com/pricing.
Can an AI assistant use Mographr directly?
Yes. Mographr runs a free MCP server, so Claude, Cursor, VS Code or ChatGPT can render motion-graphics overlays and hand back an MP4 without you leaving the chat. It needs no API key and no account. Setup instructions are at https://www.mographr.com/mcp, and the endpoint is https://mcp.mographr.com/mcp.
